Certificates of fidelity to the United States, 1816 May 6.

To Tah-mah-hah or Tah-mah-haw (One Eye). Issued by William Clark, Superintendent of Indian Affairs in St. Louis, Missouri. Present are the original, with the portion bearing Clark's signature missing; two photographic copies of the original; two handwritten copies or variants made in 1851 and later, which give the full text; and photographs of the two copies. Accompanied by a typed transcription (on two 3 inch x 5 inch cards) and biographical data on Tah-mah-hah (on two 3 inch x 5 inch cards).
